Megan Gurski

Owner/Instructor

Hi, I’m Megan, a middle years teacher and the owner and instructor of NW25 Outdoor Learning Co. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and have furthered my learning through specialized training, including Treaty Education. Since 2018, I’ve been a classroom teacher on and off, combining my passion for teaching with my love of the outdoors.

My certifications include Red Cross Standard First Aid Instructor, Wilderness Remote First Aid, Introduction Tandem Lake Canoe Skills, Mental Health First Aid, and NASP Basic Archery Instructor. These qualifications, paired with years of experience, allow me to confidently lead diverse outdoor learning opportunities.

I’ve had the privilege of participating in countless overnight outdoor excursions with learners of all ages, from middle years students to adults. My favourite adventures are those that take me to Northern Saskatchewan, where I can explore the lakes and forests by canoe. Two highlights of my journey so far include leading a group to Nistowiak Falls and accompanying a school group on a trek to Lynx Lake.

Through NW25, I aim to inspire others to discover the joy, peace, and growth that the natural world can bring. I look forward to continuing to explore the beauty of Saskatchewan, creating meaningful learning experiences, and helping others understand the transformative power of nature.
